Sammy Cortino Unanimously Accepted Into London’s Magic Circle

    (HICKORY, North Carolina — March 17, 2008) Magic’s Royal Duke Sammy Cortino’s performance ability has been examined by the Magic Circle’s 14 member Council. His membership of the world-famous society, based off of the Council’s examination, has been accepted unanimously.

The Magic Circle has such noted members as Siegfried and Roy, David Copperfield, Lance Burton, and Prince Charles. Founded in 1905 the organization holds over 70 public shows, workshops, lectures, and competitions designed to elevate the art of magic at its multi-million dollar headquarters in London. As there is an extensive examination and screening process, strictly magicians of a high caliber can join this 1,500 member society.

Sammy, 19, is honored to be considered so highly by the prestigious organization. He says, “It’s certainly yet another indication to me that this [magic] is what I’m supposed to be doing. Because of this experience, I know I will continue to excel into the realm of my fondest dreams.”
